When I was living in London at the end of last year, I discovered Read the Label at Organique, a great shop in Finsbury park that sells lots of brilliant organic and natural items.
Read the Label are based in London and create a whole range of natural and inspired beauty and skin and body care products. While I intend to expand the range of Read the Label products stocked on in greens , I decided to add their shea butter as it’s completely pure and unrefined and brilliant to use within homemade beauty products such as body butter, face cream and even if you fancy making your own sunscreen! Whatever you plan to do, we are really happy to have this in stock.
We also introduced their Organic Neem Soap Bar. Neem is derived from the Neem tree and has deep healing properties. It is known for its efficacy in dealing with skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis as well as scalp irritation. So far this has been very popular, in fact we sold out of our first batch within a week of introducing to the shop. I have been using this on my hair as a conditioner and I have to say, I am really impressed by how soft it is afterwards.
In the coming weeks, there will be a new section: ‘Recipes’ which will include different recipes and some will include ways incorporate shea butter in your homemade beauty products.
